These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AI Mention website and services. By using our website, submitting an inquiry, purchasing an audit, or subscribing to a monitoring service, you agree to these Terms. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that business.

Services

AI Mention provides AI visibility checks, AI search visibility audits, monitoring, reports, and advisory recommendations for businesses.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create a paid account or purchase a subscription. The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. If you use the service on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to do so.

No guaranteed ranking or recommendation

We do not guarantee that any AI platform, search engine, directory, review platform, or third-party service will rank, mention, recommend, display, or continue displaying your business. AI search results can change without notice and are controlled by third parties.

Client responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate business information, reviewing our recommendations, and implementing any changes, unless a separate implementation service has been agreed in writing.

Reports and recommendations

Our reports are based on the information, prompts, tools, and results available at the time of review. They are provided for business decision-making and marketing guidance. They are not legal, financial, tax, or regulatory advice.

AI-generated analysis

Our checks, audits, reports, and recommendations are produced with the help of artificial intelligence. AI-generated output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date, and can vary from one run to the next. The AI platforms we measure are controlled by third parties and change without notice. You are responsible for reviewing our findings and using your own judgment before acting on them, and we are not liable for decisions made, or outcomes that result, from reliance on AI-generated analysis.

Payments and taxes

Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card details. Prices, payment terms, and billing frequency are shown before purchase or agreed in writing. Prices are exclusive of applicable sales, use, or similar taxes, which we will add where required by law.

Subscriptions and cancellation

Subscription services renew automatically each billing period (monthly unless stated otherwise) until canceled. You can cancel at any time by contacting hello@ai-mention.net or through your account. Cancellation stops future billing but does not, except as stated in our Refund Policy, refund amounts already paid for the current or prior periods.

Acceptable use

You must not use our services for any unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, abusive, defamatory, or harmful activity.

You may use the service to analyze competitors or other publicly visible businesses for legitimate market research and comparison purposes. You must not use the service to impersonate others, submit knowingly false information, interfere with third parties, or make defamatory or misleading claims about businesses or individuals.

We reserve the right to suspend or refuse service where we reasonably believe the platform is being misused.

Intellectual property

The website, services, software, and related content are owned by AI Mention or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the services for your own business purposes during your subscription. Reports and recommendations we deliver may be used within your business; you may not resell, redistribute, or publicly republish them except as expressly permitted (for example, agency plans that include white-label reporting).

Disclaimer of warranties

The services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your expectations.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, third-party platform or search-engine changes, AI model behavior, or business outcomes arising from your use of the services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the services in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Mention and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Termination

You may stop using the services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the services. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

Governing law and venue

AI Mention is a United Kingdom business. These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the services, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this clause removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of the place where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and AI Mention regarding the services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
